Well in my quest for interactions with the media I must say there were little happenings today. I spent from 9:30am until 4:50pm in class and then 5:45pm-9:00pm at work. So needless to say I was a busy girl.
Nonetheless I did have some interactions with the world around me. This morning on the way to school I was listening to the Elvis Duran Show on Hot Mix 101.9 and over heard some news about a possible hostage situation at a school in Duchess County in up state New York. I was curious about this all day but could not find anything on various applications on my iPhone (TODAY Show, USA Today, TIME Magazine, etc.)
I arrived to work early and was able to catch some of the local news as well as a bit of the national news and neither spoke of the incident. I did however hear of a plane crash in Northwest Arkansas. I'm not sure on the details, I think it happened at an Air Show but the girls in the room were talking too loud for me to fully get the scoop. On the national news the head story was about the funeral service of the 13 soldiers that were killed at Fort Hood. It was truly emotional to see the family members walk by and weep at the boots, hat, and gun.
Other than that I checked my email found out there is going to be an ASG Town Hall meeting or something to that sorts. But yeah that's about all of the interaction I did today. I really hope I'm getting the hang of this by now and that There's not a deeper meaning to what I'm looking for.
