Well it's been a long day in the real world and school world. I would have to say my most interesting interaction with media outside of the Internet and email would be through the Traveler Newspaper. I always look for it on Mondays and Wednesdays when I work at the HPER. The papers get me through the night with fun reads and my favorite: Sudoku puzzles!
Tonight I read my Horoscope it was right on which was a little creepy considering the news was not good. But I read about the up coming men's basketball team. I have favorites: Michael Sanchez and Courtney Fortenson. But I heard some disheartening news that several of the members had been suspended for either academics, failed a drug test, or the rape scandal.
Today was Veteran's Day and all over the local news were reports of local parades, gatherings, speeches, etc. One of the main focuses was on the celebration at Fort Hood. It was bittersweet to watch those who were mourning celebrate what they do. But nonetheless I give my sincere gratitude to those people who have and are sacrificing their lives to keep our country free.
