Story Time

I have no story to tell. Could I come up with one? Sure, but when you write the story of your life what would it say? I mean really...I just figured out that at 24 I have no story. I know, I'm young and I think I could talk about things that have happened to me but I have no story to really bring together who I am. I think that's why I'm so drawn to writing because the story thrills me. I'm captured by words and how they all collaborate to bring a story to life.
Another aspect of story telling are the pictures in the book. Children's books are amazing for this reason and not because the kids don't feel like reading but pictures have the ability to tell a completely different story than the original script. It is in this realization I find myself in a battle.
What would you leave behind to tell people about yourself: words or pictures? Do pictures inspire the words or do the things we say drive the creativity to develop a concept for an artist/photographer?
