It's Been A Long Time..

Man life is crazy,

Who would have thought 16 hours, two jobs, covering events, and list of a million other things would keep me from the one thing I really love!? Well obviously it has...I'm going to try and catch you up on what's going on in life....

OK FIRST AND FOREMOST....

I was given the honor of writing my first fashion piece in the September 2009 issue of CitiScapes Magazine. My piece was about the 2009 Fall Fashion Trends. I am very gracious to a slew of people: My boss Kim, my editor Aaron, and the following stores/websites for inspiration and photo usage: Banana Republic, Bloomingdales, ShopBop.com, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, GAP, and I'm sure there are MANY I'm forgetting but THANK YOU to all of you who helped me get all of that together for BEAUTIFUL spread. I'm so proud of myself.

School is going....as always I've never been a huge fan although I've been in college for over 5 years now haha. I WILL graduate in December of 2010 and will have finished in just under 7 years. Hey in this recession who wants to worry about losing their job? NOT ME! But I think my fav class is a tie between Modern America Literate and Media and Society because of the teachers. Lisa Hinrichson is AMAZING! Her personality is so warm and I feel so comfortable walking into her class. Hoyt Purvis is the person I dream to be one day. He has lived a life worth writing a book about: car rides with Johnny Cash, vacations with Bill Clinton, Foreign Affairs Administration, etc. They are great teachers who are influencing me daily.

Life-as always, it's crazy. I'm meeting new people through my job at the magazine and am starting to establish myself in the community and it's so exciting. I'm hoping to really get involved with some select Non-profits when my schedule allows me :) My friends are keeping me grounded, there are days when I would LOVE to catch the next plane to NY and start over haha but we all our days right!? OH I died my hair SUPER dark-I actually think it started more towards black but it's faded and now it's toned down to a dark brown. I LOVE IT! I kinda threw everyone a loop because I never announce when I decide to do something like this. I like to keep things exciting.

Anyways peeps....

I do hope to keep up with this more, like I said I'm a VERY busy and my night job decided to cut us off from the internet so I have no "real" internet time until after 9pm and by then I'm ready to settle down for the evening and just go to sleep with my little pup Rocco.
